Five nights in the Missouri Ozarks. Six courses by the greatest minds in golf. One champion to be crowned where the hardwoods meet Table Rock Lake.
Big Cedar Lodge sits high in the Missouri Ozark Mountains, overlooking the 43,000-acre Table Rock Lake near Branson. Founded in 1987 by Johnny Morris — the visionary behind Bass Pro Shops — it began as a private passion project rooted in conservation and the romance of the American outdoors.
It has since grown into America's #1 Golf Resort and the #1 Resort in the Midwest. What makes it singular is the lineup: Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Coore & Crenshaw, Gary Player, and Arnold Palmer — all designing on one property. Payne's Valley became the first fully public-access course ever drawn by TGR Design.
"Every stroke counts.
Every round matters.
One champion will emerge from the Ozarks."
The order of play is decided on arrival. What's certain is that every fairway here was drawn by someone who has shaped the modern game.
Big Cedar Lodge isn't just a golf resort — it's a conservation statement, a living tribute to the American wilderness. It is the only place on earth where you can play courses by Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Coore & Crenshaw, Gary Player and Arnold Palmer in a single stay. For the Influent Tour, this is more than a destination — it is a landmark chapter.
I want you to land in Missouri with a full picture, not a brochure. Here is exactly what to expect from the sky in the second week of November — and why local pros still call it one of the best windows of the year to play Big Cedar.
Big Cedar Lodge treats November through February as its golf shoulder season: the resort is quieter, tee sheets open up, and green fees drop from peak-summer pricing. Buffalo Ridge, Ozarks National, Payne's Valley and Mountain Top all stay open year-round, weather permitting, and the maintenance teams keep the surfaces in tournament condition right through autumn.
Frost delays are possible on a cold morning, so we build the schedule around late-morning tee times. The hardwoods are deep red and gold in the second week of November, the courses are at their most photogenic, and you are almost certainly playing in a sweater — not a rain jacket.
Beyond the six rounds, the trip is yours to shape — an NFL or NCAA football game in Kansas City or St. Louis, a night out in Nashville on the way home, a guided bass-fishing morning on Table Rock Lake, a Bass Pro Shops flagship tour, or a spa day at Big Cedar. Tell me what you'd love to do and I'll build it in.
All add-ons and the final itinerary are confirmed once we have gathered a group of at least 8 players — that's when pricing on transfers, courses and extras locks in, and we sit down together to design the week.
Discuss customisationAdd your name (or a nickname if you'd rather stay discreet) so everyone can see how the group is shaping up. The trip locks in once we reach at least 8 players.
